Sorry its been so long since the last post. Last week was Evie's second birthday and she had a party at Willows Farm for her friends and their siblings. She had a great time, the weather was perfect and she loved opening her presents. But I think the terrible two's actually started a couple of weeks ago for her - she knows what she wants and goes all out to get what she wants - with a very cheeky grin as she does it!
This week we have been at Center Parcs and had another brilliant time. Katie had booked it for us before she knew the cancer had returned. She would have wanted us to enjoy it and we did! But we also spent a lot of time thinking, remembering and talking about things we had done and shared there with her in the past. And it was good to have Sam, Christian and family there and also to spend a day with Robert, Julijana, Noah and Farrah.

Giles,
Glad you had a good time. Been thinking about Katie lots. Haven't we all? Got very sick with a migraine last night. Had to go to bed and leave the kids' dinner, bath and bed to Toby. Can't imagine what you two went through towards the end. Love to you and the kids.

Well done Giles -quite a challenge met with such courage and positivity. Katie would be so proud of you all.
Terrible two's don't last a whole year and are an essential part of growing up. You are veteran!
Thinking about you all in the return to school and work, Love Pam and Gary

I have just read about Katie's fight. Like Katie my husband has died from melanoma at the beginning of May and went through a very similar journey to Katie with treatment from the Royal Marsden and dying in our local hospice in Esher.I found the story a huge comfort.Like you I have been inspired to do something-starting with a midnight walk.
Thinking of you and your children
