Tomorrow is the big day. I hope Professor Thomas has a good one!

We are getting up at 6 to leave at 7am. The kids are going to my parents and I am sure they will be fine - though not sure I will be without them. Giles is staying in a hotel close to the hospital and will update this blog (be warned - he is planning an "after photo" as well) while I am out of it.

Think of me tomorrow afternoon as that's when it is happening!

I will be thinking of you a lot tomorrow. I am positive that you will be in very good hands and that you will be recovering and moving on with your life very soon. Looking forward to seeing you at the school gates asap!
Lots of love,

Dear Katie.
Am sending all the positivity that we can muster to you, giles and your beautiful kids for tomorrow. And my son says 'apeedable' (thats his word of the week, I am sure it means Good Luck!).
Your little ones sound and look like great kids, and I cant help but think how lucky you are to have 3 sets of little hands to hold onto once you get through this Op, and then for many, many, years to come.

Good Luck!!

Kieran C, Melissa and Callum
