We raised £427 pounds for Willow Foundation and £888 for Isabel Hospice by doing the walk. Thanks to everyone that turned out for it. The Hospice want to include an article about the walk in their newsletter which goes out to about 20,000 hospice supporters.

I have yet to get the donations from the Thanksgiving Service and Party to the charities for counting but I hope to do that in the next day or so.

Great to see all that you have done in rememberence of Katie. Hope you and the kids are surviving OK.
I e-mailed you at the tesco address which I used to e-mail Katie on (I thought it was a joint address as it has your name in it). The message was to say that I wrote an obituary for the Pharmaceutical Journal but they won't print it without sighting the death cert. I thought it would be nice to inform her collegues who may not know of Katie's death. If you want it printed please can you fax the death cert to 02380 612845.

It reads:-
Katie Pratt (nee Nicholls) sadly lost her fight to malignant melanoma on 22/2/10.
Katie (37) graduated from the London School of Pharmacy (Square) in 1994, pre-reg in 1995 and then worked as a Hospital Pharmacist and Pharmacy Practioner in and around London.
Kind, fun-loving, beautiful and intelligent she made an impression on everyone who met her.
Katie leaves behind a loving family (including 3 young children) whose care for her throughout her illness was second to none. She fought an inspirational battle but now her suffering has ended. Her story can be followed on www.katiesfight.blogspot.com. She will be greatly missed by the many she touched throughout her life.
Katie's inspiration has taught us to enjoy every moment of life. Cherish time with loved ones. Most of us have very little to complain about.

Looking forward to the Marie Claire article - gives me the excuse I need to buy it although I'm not sure if it's the same print over here in Oz. Will get mum to send it if not.

Love,
Karen
