The swelling at the bottom of the scar hasn't got any bigger and the nurse from the Marsden didn't seem too worried. She just told me to keep an eye on it but phone back if it gets bigger. Its probably the depth of a golf ball but a bit wider sitting above my collar bone.
It was lovely to see everyone at the church hall this morning but I went home and had a sleep afterwards. Now I am going to pop my pills and try and get some more sleep if the pain allows.

I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through. I hope time softens the edge a bit.

I've had trouble with my lymph nodes all my life, they can go up and down massively. The one on my leg is probably the volume of a tennis ball or so.

I've been checking your blog, my prayers go to you and your family. I'm rooting for you! :)

I can't beleive I have more relatives now! 3 children, I didn't see that coming :) I look forward to meeting them all.

Matt

Hi Katie -
It's great to hear you are getting your energy levels back - the operation was such a huge thing, and 4 weeks is no time at all... Carry on taking good care of yourself - your strength of spirit, amazing positive attitude and the love and support from all your family and friends go far.
take care and sending lots of love your way,
Azza xxx
