Didn’t get the massage – spent the day in bed with the sickness virus – and missed Fiona’s leaving do too. (Sorry Fiona.)
However we were all feeling well enough by Saturday for the spectacular fireworks. Thankfully Giles managed to not blow up our house or our neighbours’ or any of the attendees. (In spite of ignoring the 25 metre distance we were supposed to have between fireworks and people.) Fortunately it didn’t rain on us – a blessing when there were 18 over-excited children in our house!

Dear Katie, Giles and Family
It's wonderful to read all the normal things that make life so special and precious. Outings with the family, party with the children, work and sport and so it's a good thing to feel that everyday life has come back to you too. In Switzerland Winter has hit us again this week and its pretty cold. Time goes by so quickly and soon Christmas will be here. For you all certainly a great time. I remember well how it was when the children were small - magic moments. Lots of love to you all - and I look forward to the next positive news. Nicole
