Monday 19 January 2009

As January progresses Sophie and Sam are enjoying being back at school again. Evie has learnt to wave and although not yet crawling, manages to manoeuvre herself well enough anyway. We have completed another trip to the Marsden (via Knightsbridge this time!). All is well. My check-ups will be three-monthly from now on for the next two years – so the next one is at Easter. In addition my voice continues to improve without any intervention.
Last weekend Giles, Dan (Giles’ brother ) & I had a go at rally driving. Lots of handbrake turns (with unintentional 180 degree spins). I was the slowest – of course but only by just over 1 second. Great fun – although I still don’t think I have a clue about the techniques we used! The picture I’ve posted is not of any of us – we weren’t going fast enough to look that impressive!

Hi Katie

Fantastic news that all is well. I'm sure it's down to your positive attitude towards everything, but you've always been like that.

Hope to see you at end of feb.

Lots of love Neil and Amanda and a cuddle from Cameron xx

Hi Katie, Positive thoughts and actions are certainly marathon and you have run many in the past few months so we all think you are a true achiever in every sense of the word. It's strange and humbling that those whose lives experience devastating events can not only hit back with amazing courage but also want to support others in a way that other people cannot. You are one of these special people.Make sure the runners have really good shoes and follow the guidelines on website!! All will be well! Love Pam and Gary
